Salesforce is a cloud-based software company that provides customer relationship management (CRM). I took three of their Trailhead courses which are centred around learning how to use their various products.
Get to Know Salesforce
This course was about how businesses can
improve customer relationships using Salesforce. The first thing I learned is
that customer expectations are increasing more than ever, and customers now
expect a unified experience from a business not just deliverance of a product
or service. They also have a system called the ‘Customer 360 Platform’, a
software development that allows users to build with little or no coding. This
ensures that businesses are keeping up with technological advancements with
their current skill sets. This allows them to constantly innovate on their
methods of improving customer relationships. I think this course is valuable to
those who are mostly looking to set up a business.
Discover CRM Analytics
CRM Analytics is the first comprehensive
AI for CRM. The course was about becoming familiar with the software and learning
how to navigate and use it. This course was very specific to learning how to
use the CRM Analytics, which I found quite limiting. I feel, like the first
course, they could’ve given general information on analysing CRM rather than
just training tailored to their own platform.
Enhance Emails with
Interactivity
This course taught me how to use AMP
for emails in order to add interactivity and real time updates from emails. I
learned how to actually code AMP emails using the Marketing Cloud. I got to learn
a technological language skill which is something that can enhance my CV. There
was a module which explored advanced ways to create an AMP which I thought was
useful as it doesn’t just limit one to using the Marketing Cloud or certain
code commands.
I enjoyed completing these courses. I
learned a lot, although I feel like a lot of the training was centred around
their products and this is quite limiting. My favourite course was the third
one as I learned how to use AMP and I can apply my learnings across any non-Salesforce
platforms.

Sounds great, I must give it a go!
